ประวัติความเป็นมาของพลาสติก
ความเป็นมา
มนุษย์ใช้พอลิเมอร์ธรรมชาติมาตั้งแต่อดีต เช่น ฝ้าย ขนสัตว์ ฯลฯ เพียงแต่ยังไม่รู้จักคำว่าพอลิเมอร์ พอนำวัตุดิบเหล่านี้มาทำให้เกิดปฏิกิริยาร่วมกับสารเคมีจึงทำให้สังเคราะห์ได้พลาสติกออกมา วิวัฒนาการของการสร้างพลาสติกสามารถแบ่งได้เป็น 3 ช่วงหลักๆคือ การค้นพบสารตั้งต้น ( precursor ) การสร้างพลาสติกโดยใช้เส้นใยกึ่งสังเคราะห์ ( Begining of the Plastic Era) และ การกำเนิดพลาสติกชนิดเทอร์โมเซตติ้งและเทอร์โมพลาสติก ( Thermosetting Plastics and Thermoplastic Plastics )
